Four and twenty tailors
Went to catch a snail.
The bravest one amongst them
Dare not touch her tail.
She put out her horns
Like a little kylie cow.
Run tailors run
Or she'll catch you even now.

Oops! I wasn't paying attention. The "red dress lady" just has a red coat in this one and has a new aqua skirt. At first I thought the snail had saddle bags, but then I looked closer and saw what I thought was a clasp was a window. Your imagination is wonderful. How wise of you to give it free rein.
ReplyDeleteInside the box are the other twenty three tailors. She obviously is much in need of a tailored suit as she is out hunting tailors.
ReplyDeleteYeah, yanno, I'd do a spot of tailored hunting myself if I thought it would work. "Floor-length" for other people is "mid-calf" for me.
ReplyDeleteSign me up for a snail-steed, I'm all over it!
Imagine reading a new nursery rhyme at my age--I'd never encountered that one!
ReplyDeleteI like the tailor's vintage sewing machine--those models are quite prized here.
