The moon, the hart, the hare and horses.

The hart, he loves the high wood,
The hare, she loves the hill,
The knight, he loves his bright sword
And the lady loves her will.

After a day of painting, and yesterday's wonderful day of walking and writing, so tired, and wanting to work in the evening, when friends come by and put an end to work as the garden fills up with wonderful horses, who prune the roses, flowers and all, and re-arrange the rosemary, and drink fizz. When they leave they take Hannah with them, and as she goes she says, "if I fail my chemistry exam tomorrow it will be your fault for letting me go."

And I am still listening to Jennifer Warnes, still loving the music, still loving the moon.

  2. Tell Hannah to listen to the Archers and decide if it's Pip's fault that she fails her exam, or the distraction she's chosen to distract herself with

  5. Great poem and paintings, I love all things knightly and courtly. I got goosebumps when I visited Tintagel's wild cliff where I like to believe King Arthur reigned. How fun to have visitors take her off on a horse ride.

  6. The poem is just so lovely, so few words with such a strong sentiment.
With your descriptive meandering's of yesterday and poetic paintings of today - not to mention horse fun. It's hard to believe you're living in the same world as the rest of us :)
