A Bazaar Day

In Druidstone Hotel today all day. Outside, a beautiful day. Inside, painting quietly in a corner at a beautiful desk that had belonged to Jane's mother. I painted a dragon for Seren, who slept through the day oblivious of hustle and bustle.

  1. How kind of Seren to sleep while you painted his dragon, a handsome dragon indeed.

  2. What a covetable dragon! Is it a purple one or a green one? Difficult to tell in the photo.

  3. Our small town here in Indiana held its "Hometown Christmas" festival today, and Seren's American opposite number slept his time away cradled in a very similar baby carrier. Across continents and oceans, babies adapt to holiday excitment in much the same way! The continuity is somehow reassuring.
