On the beach today and in the studio

Pattern. In the sand. And beauty in unexpected places.
Light.
Sea birds and a sky so blue, newly emerged from rain.
At home, a small dragon hatched from a sky blue egg.

  2. Blue skies, mad dogs, the gingers (of course), a library decorated with your work and a illustrated van in the offing. Hurrah for you, and thanks for cheering me up!

  3. Indeed Fiona, I think you will find that that is the very rare and one of a kind, soon to be travelling to Norfolk, Raffle Dragon. You like?

  4. I love the little heart shape the dragon makes with the tip of its tail! A good name for this raffle dragon would be Raffles the Dragon. This one has a very nice neck frill and is very colorful shade of orangey-gold coming from its blue egg.

  7. Little Dragon Small and I will be off looking for a story very shortly. Keeps trying to get through now, but I have just over a week to do 2 1/2 paintings, so keep asking it to wait. Maybe, if I can get even a little ahead of myself.
But next I have 'I am Cat' and 'The Panda's Child' and my secret project of great enormity and 'East of teh Sun and West of the Moon' to do. Might get shunted up the list of Tell Me a Dragon makes it on to the Greeneway shortlist.

  8. Apologize if this is a repeat, but I love the way the dragon's tail-tip forms into a heart! Quite a lovely little orange-gold dragon with a very pretty neck frill.
