Walking in snow.

Two lots of snow and the threat of more but we all decided that we should go to the top of the hill to see the view. Pixie too thought that despite the fact she still has terrible cold this was the best idea of the day.

There were woodcock on the hill and snipe, and silence. Few planes in the sky, no traffic sounds. It rarely snows here, but always when it does I find that I just cannot get to work, despite the fact that I work at home. Even at the age of almost 50 I just have to go out to play!

  4. I'm not sure I could work on such a beautiful day! The shot of the cloud hanging over the ocean is spectacular. Inspires me to come out of the mountain forests and paint seas again!
Happy Winter from the forests of New England....

  6. Oh, it looks so beautiful. I wish I were back in Pembrokeshire, London has only slush now, so I'm afraid more planes will soon be flying your way from Heathrow.

  7. I hope there'll be a plane with my Bro and SIL landing at Heathrow, if it hasn't already. Thanks for sharing your beautiful snow. Dry as a bone here, bleary and cold.

  8. Sorry to hear that Pixie has been unwell again...she certainly looks like she's having a good time venturing out in the snow, especially with big Bella to rub up against and Hannah to pick her up and give her a cuddle...

  9. How glorious! I have a similar coat to Tom's, only mine hasn't been hit with a huge snowball... yet! Pixie does look fabulous against the snow and very comfortable in Hannah's arms. Hannah might well be the heroine in the tale of Blue Riding Hood!
