Something small and simple can sometimes change the way a drawing looks. Both of these are the same drawing, one after doodling while talking on the phone and after reading a message on facebook.

Oh, if only I could doodle like that!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI see you have found your gossamer parasol. So much more civilized than the whip, don't you think?

The first one makes me wonder what the phone conversation was about!
ReplyDeleteThe second one reminds me of your walks with your cats. (Your American Indian name would have to be: "Walks with Lions" -- hehe!) I hope you paint the bottom one. I'd love to see it in color, especially a gloriously paisley parasol!
The drawing began with me doing a facebook status update. The threads that followed led to the swap with the whip and the parasol. The phone conversation just meant that I sat and doodled in details for a while.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny but facebook has inspired a few pieces now, either from things said or wanting new profile picture.
That is talented doodling indeed. Now I will look for you on FB, I am brand new there and like to see bloggy friends there.
ReplyDeleteLovely drawing ... that lion is fabulous indeed! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd you call that to doodle!! Mine looks nothing like that :-) Like the umbrella!
ReplyDeleteIt may be small and simple but it's also very majestic and cool!
